On February 21, 2020 the Council of Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia adopted the decision to issue a certificate to GASTRANS d.o.o. Novi Sad as an independent operator for the transmission of natural gas. This decision essentially confirms the preliminary AERS decision which was adopted on August 15, 2019. This same obligation was imposed to GASTRANS, i.e., to submit certificates of occupancy or to register ownership rights of natural gas transmission facilities as evidence confirming that the company operates and manages the constructed transmission system independently 6 months prior to the beginning of operational work at the latest.
